CULINARY ARTS
Our food defines us. It is a representation of the real us. Food recipes are a legacy from our ancestors. Food is at the heart of our communication since it is an integral part to our identity. Indo-Canadians are losing their food heritage at a very fast pace. The LII Food Heritage project will preserve family food heritage through data collection and promote South Asian Culinary arts through food festivals and creative events.

PERFORMING ARTS
Music, Dance and Theatre are an integral part of life for a lot of Indian families in Canada. LII Performing Arts Project serves to enhance and advance the cultural fabric of British Columbia and Canada through production, education, and performance of arts, featuring guided influences from South Asian cultures, which are reflective of this significant demographic in Canada.
LII would be organizing live performance events, collaborations and festivals.

FINE ARTS
LII is dedicated towards increasing the visibility of culturally diverse artists by curating and exhibiting their work, providing mentorship, facilitating professional development, and creating a community for our artists. LII intends to be an organization committed to support the work of artists voicing Indian Heritage.
LII currently operates without a gallery space and intends to collaborate with other artist-run centers, public galleries, universities, and museums for exhibitions.

FASHION & FOLK ARTS
South Asian Fashion is based on several handicrafts and skilled folk arts like Phulkari and Chikenkari. LII plans to create a community of South Asian Fashion Designers and skilled workers to represent them on provincial as well as national level.
LII also plans to organize annual fashion events or merge the same with other events.

LITRATURE & FILM
Literature and films are made by the people, for the people, and about the people. Films, books, and poems represent art, culture, and tradition of societies.
LII motivates good literature and films that originate from South Asia and promotes young Indo-Canadian authors and filmmakers.
LII plans to run film festivals and Literature weeks in the time to come.
